A BEGINNING THAT BECAME A CALLING
I'm a luxury wedding officiant, public speaker, writer, singer, and actor serving couples within 75 miles of Washington, DC.
What began as officiating a single family wedding quickly became a calling. Five years and more than 100 ceremonies later, I continue to craft deeply personal, story-driven celebrations for couples who want something meaningful, intentional, and entirely their own.
INFLUENCE & PERSPECTIVE
Raised in a multi-faith household and having spent four years living in Sydney, Australia, I developed a deep appreciation for cultural nuance, ritual, and storytelling across traditions.
I bring this perspective into my work, thoughtfully weaving cultural, religious, and personal elements into modern ceremonies that feel authentic to each couple.
BACKGROUND & APPROACH
Before becoming an officiant, I spent over a decade in nonprofit fundraising—developing a foundation in emotional intelligence, storytelling, and communication under pressure.
I also hold a lifelong background in theatre, speech, and performance, which shapes my approach to ceremony: intentional pacing, meaningful language, and moments that allow the room to fully understand and embrace what is being said.

CREDENTIALS
My work has been featured in Washingtonian, The Knot, Brides, Voyage Baltimore, and They Live Happily Ever After.
I am ordained through American Marriage Ministries and the Universal Life Church, have completed AMM's Business of Officiating course, and am a Certified Professional Wedding Officiant through the International Association of Professional Wedding Officiants (IAPWO).
I am authorized to perform ceremonies in Washington, DC, Maryland, Virginia, Delaware, and West Virginia.

PERSONAL NOTE
I'm married myself, and through my own experience navigating multiple wedding celebrations, I understand firsthand that no two ceremonies—and no two families—are alike.
I approach each couple with flexibility, warmth, and deep sensitivity to the emotional layers that weddings often carry.
When I'm not at the altar or on stage, I'm walking my rescue dog Corrigan, reading, or supporting causes including the Montgomery County Coalition for the Homeless, Round House Theatre, and Generation Hope.
VALUES AND COMMITMENT
Every couple deserves a ceremony that feels entirely their own. I officiate for all couples — LGBTQ+, interfaith, intercultural, and everything in between — because love doesn't need a template.
Married by Miller operates on the traditional, unceded land of the Piscataway, Powhatan, and Nacotchtank peoples. I honor their elders, past and present, and generations to come.
